Groupon has sent me a deal to my Gmail account on staying at the Lake Geneva Resort in Wisconsin. It was for a ski and golf package. The skiers, from the summit of The Mountain Top, can view the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa’s 1,300-acre property. Just three miles from the shores of Geneva Lake is the AAA Four Diamond resort, which includes two championship golf courses, an indoor water park, and 18 ski runs that zigzag down the slopes.
During the slower hours of the day for your group, deluxe courtside or lakeside rooms offer a “restful haven” in the resort’s ranch-style lodge, which was inspired by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. There are quite a few restaurants that cater to different tastes, from the fillet medallions at the ChopHouse to handmade pasta with lobster from Ristoranté Brissago. Two cafés and a pair of bars and grills offer casual dining alternatives as well.
Between the two award-winning golf courses of Grand Geneva Resort, The Brute challenges even the most accomplished players, while the Jack Nicklaus-designed Highlands course accommodates higher handicaps. There is a 35-foot rock-climbing wall and tennis courts in the indoor sports complex. If that isn’t good enough, the WELL Spa and Salon may have your attention. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs bubble year-round at TimberRidge Waterpark, a “sprawling” facility featuring a lazy river and twisting waterslides.

Coupons are really a great thing. They improve sales for the company and make the product or service more appealing. However, it’s usually nice to know where you’re getting your oil changed at.
It’s also usually nice to figure out how much the price would be, even if you get a 50% off coupon. Either way, a coupon is a coupon.

I really wouldn’t mind saving some money on car rentals, as they can definitely get expensive. 40% would be insane, so it would help quite a bit.
Oh, and just as a little rant, isn’t it insane how much it costs to park in the ramps while you go on vacation? You pay to fly an airplane, check bags in, and do everything else while standing there. You pay way more than enough for drinks and food while you’re waiting. And then, on top of that, you pay $75-100 (based on a week) to just park in the parking ramp. That’s on top of what you pay for your rental car! How absurd! I realize they need money, too, but it isn’t like it’s almost full and you need to reserve a spot! Nevertheless, here’s a coupon.

Now here is a place that I definitely don’t care to stay at. I realize not all Days Inn’s are bad, but I stayed in one where the room was just terrible. It was just a little motel room, which I didn’t mind, but I don’t like cigarette burns in my blankets in my non-smoking room, bugs in the freezing pool that they fill with a hose lying next to it, and a hot tub that makes you itch and felt like you were going to melt. Those reasons filled with the “deluxe” breakfast of pastries, cereal, orange juice, and/or milk, and it was quite the stay.
